 Ermioni
Ermioni is a fishing village in the South part of the Greek Mainland in Peloponnese (Peloponnissos). Ermioni is placed on a very small peninsula facing the island of Hydra.
Unlike the tourist crowded areas Ermioni gives to its visitors the opportunity to enjoy the Greek Sun and sea in a quite location. Simplicity and authenticity makes Ermioni a hidden paradise for a vacation or a long term stay. Local fish tavernas, restaurants, small clubs and bars offer an interesting night life.
Ermioni's location is ideal and gives opportunities for daily excursions in remarkable historical sites. Days can be spent touring the surrounding islands of Hydra, Poros, and Spetses. Trips can be arranged to the ancient theatre of Epidavros the ruins of the ancient city of Mycenes and the first capital of Greece Nafplion.
By car from Athens, the distance is 180 km and it takes approximately 2hrs using the national road Athens - Korinthos.
